The Birdland duet was born from the encounter of two female artists with similar musicality and tastes: Singer Elise Rivière and pianist Vinciane Hansberger.
They decided to set up a very large repertoire for piano and voice, ranging from American jazz standards to English pop/rock ballads, and also including international variety songs, French songs, country ballads and even rhythm'n'Blues hits. The duet can also offer a journey through Broadway musicals.
The Birdland duet is the ideal band to create a warm
and cosy atmosphere for a dinner, a cocktail or to create a pleasant and relaxing
piano bar ambiance, with a mix of international and French songs in the background.
You will recognise some of your favourite songs and also have the opportunity
to rediscover beautiful songs, seldom played or heard.
